Who should take this digital marketing course?

Anyone can apply for the Certified Digital Marketing Professional. 

A background in a related discipline is not required; the aim of the certification is to enable you to learn everything you need to know at a foundation level, so you can kick start your digital career. You could be a business owner, a traditional or digital marketing professional, a recent graduate, or simply looking to change your career. 

The only prerequisite is that you have an interest in digital marketing and want to progress your career.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will become a Certified Digital Marketing Professional.


How much does this digital marketing course cost?

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course costs HK$16,950 to study face-to-face. 

This includes all course materials and the examination fee (first attempt only).


How long is this digital marketing course?

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional is approximately 30-hours of digital marketing course content.

The full-time format is 5 consecutive days from 9am-5pm.

The part-time format is 5 weeks long and twice a week from 7pm-10pm.

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional can also be delivered online. You can access your digital marketing course content wherever and whenever you want.


Is this digital marketing course technical?

No, in the sense that it is not a programming course, and you will not have to learn any coding. The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course focuses on the commercial aspect of online marketing.

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is a practical course designed to help you improve your business's online lead generation and customer engagement.


When do I take the certification exam?

After conclusion of the last class, students have up to 6 months to take the exam.  

Exam dates are scheduled by the student themselves at a time, and at a Pearson Vue test centre location convenient to their schedule.  


Where do I take the exam?

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional exam is taken at a Pearson Vue test centre all around the world.  Nearby locations can be found here.


How long is the exam?

The exam is roughly 3 hours of multiple choice questions taken on a computer at a Pearson Vue test centre.


What happens if I fail the exam?

Students have up to 3 chances to take the exam.  The first exam attempt is covered in the course fee but additional attempts are covered by the student.


How is the digital marketing certification assessed?

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional is assessed by one three hour exam; these are administered by our computer-based testing partner, Pearson Vue, via its global network of test centers. 

The exam is split into three sections; candidates need to achieve a minimum of 60% to pass the exam. Your examination fee is included in the price but subsequent re-sits due to failed attempts will incur a fee of approximately €60 or local currency equivalent payable directly to Pearson Vue when you book your repeat attempt.

Upon receiving a passing grade on the exam, students will receive a digitally verifiable certificate issued by the Digital Marketing Institute.
